Today, 18th July 2023 we manage to visit Turiani Secondary School in Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam to see how they have integrated the girls who had been out of school either due to lack of fees or pregnancies. Turiani is one of the School Centres accommodating the Mama Samia Girls as they are called. We had time to speak to the girls to see from their perspective how coming back to school has been to them. Their approach to being able to advance their education and lives.

So far they have 74 Girls who have rejoined the education. At Safe Haven Foundation, we hope to see more students rejoining and advancing their education.
