While in Geneva our Founder of Safe Haven Foundation, Dr. Khadijah Bwanaheri during the World Health Assembly representing Youth and Women leading Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs); had an opportunity to meet a group of Tanzanians who were visiting Geneva from Tanzania. They were able to raise Tanzania shillings Three million and more.

This amount raised by the Friends of Safe Haven will be used to donate Sanitary Pads to school girls to help battle period poverty as access to sanitary pads is highly important for adolescents.
